Trudner Horn – Trail Descent | 135
Ideal for single trail fanatics
This tour takes you through Neumarkt to Montan. On the forest path of the Fleimstal railway, which was abandoned in the 1960s, you will reach Kaltenbrunn almost effortlessly. Along the way you can admire the tunnels and viaducts that were built in only 16 months during the First World War. From Truden you go over Pera Schupf up to the Zisssattel and continue to the Trudner Horn (1830m) in the nature park of the same name. The last two kilometers are tough. But a magnificent view and a rustic stop at the Hornalm make up for it. Now you’re in for some great trails through forests and old cart tracks as a descent. High-speed pilots and single trail fanatics alike will get their money’s worth here. From the pulpit you have another great view over the entire Unterland (area south of Bozen), from Bozen to Salurn.
