Gravel Region South Tyrolean Wine Road
Welcome to our Gravelbike Area
Tramin on the south tyrolean wine road could become your new favorite gravel destination. Do you love to give it your all where the asphalt ends? Wide forest paths and even single trails, where you’re not squeezed by annoying trucks or impatient car drivers, are totally your thing? Then our region, this small and charming area in the south of South Tyrol, is perfect for you. The South Tyrolean Lowlands are not yet known as a destination for gravel bikers, but they have great potential to quickly become your favorite spot.
Excellent. Between Gravel and Wine. In the heart of the wine region, surrounded by vineyards that stretch across various elevations, you’ll discover many different gravel routes that are ideal for you. Between the vineyards, there are always gravel roads and forest paths that provide a nice change from bike paths and paved roads.

Long Season
Countless possibilities
Thanks to the mild Mediterranean climate that characterizes the south of South Tyrol, you can dive into your gravel adventure here with ease. Gravel biking is possible all year round, but the best time is from March to November. Our small region, with more than 300 days of sunshine and mild temperatures, is a popular vacation spot for bikers. By mid-March, we already enjoy comfortably warm temperatures between our olive trees and palm trees. The warm climate soon makes the vineyards green, the first flowers bloom, and the bees start working. We’re not only known for our many hours of sunshine but also for our excellent wines. After your gravel tour, you can taste a glass of wine directly from the winemaker or at one of the local cellars.
