Flow trails and views on the Nonsberg
Start at the Mendel cable car in Kaltern. This way you save 850 meters in altitude. From the Mendel Pass, the route goes uphill for 4 km to Penegal. Always follow the pass road. A cappuccino at the Hotel Penegal is a must and gives you a panoramic view from the sun terrace. Wow!
Continue along the mountain ridge in the direction of the Gantkofel to the Prinz Alm (Malga Prinz). Great, flowing trails await you and your bike here. After lunch at the Regole meadows, a few more meters of altitude await you as well as the Wassersteig trail which brings you back to the pass. From the Mendel Pass you first take the pass road and then the new Mendel Trail back to Kaltern and on to Altenburg and Tramin.
