Truden – Krabes Alm | 14
Ride along a view of the Lagorai group
From the parking lot at the entrance to Truden we start off to the left across meadows slightly ascending into the forest. Now the forest paths begin, which still lead us, not too steeply, deeper and deeper into the forest.
Suddenly, to our right a clearing appears with a pond and a great view as far as Meran and the mountains of the Texelgroup behind it. Further we ride along over a truly steep ramp which is partially covered in cobblestones onto a high plateau.
Soon we reach the Krabes Alm (1540m) where we stop at Walter’s and enjoy the wonderful view of the Lagorei group. This was the front between Austria and Italy in the 1st World War.
Magnificent views over the Dolomites
