Through the apple fields and vineyards, the route takes you on the east side around Lake Kaltern and up to the locomotive to Kaltern. Then you drive into the picturesque town centre of Kaltern and stop at the market place for a cool refreshment. Via the Barleitweg you then head south again. Pure Mediterranean feeling. Past vineyards, olive trees and palm trees. In St. Josef am Kalterer See we recommend a stop at the Dominikus Winery. A truly breathtaking cellar, dug into the stone by the owner himself.
